2017 "Club Lithgow" King of The Mountain Race

The King of the Mountain Race has been a long time Lithgow tradition. Sadly this event had been missing from the Lithgow calender up until 2008 when the Lithgow Show brought back the King of the Mountain Race up Scotsman's Hill. This year's race will commence from the Toni Luchetti Showground at 4.30pm on Saturday 18th March 2017.

The King of the mountain is a 4.2km (return) run up Scotsman's Hill, off Geordie Street Lithgow. It starts with a flat run out of the Tony Luchetti Showground, then a very steep climb up Scotchman's Hill, then return.

There is great prize money available, up to $250 per category.
