Space applications for the Westfund's Lithgow Show 2024

 Westfund's Lithgow Show will be run to a COVID-19 Safe Plan

Limited Site available

A display space provides you with the opportunity to promote your business or sell your product to a wide variety of people from this district, with a face to face approach to see your range of products and services.

With a COVID-19 Safety Plan in place this will limit the number of Site Holders for our 2024 Show

​

All Site Holders in the Lithgow LGA will receive a special discount of $25.00 per site

(Inside Space 3m frontage & Outside Space 4m frontage)

All prices quoted are for 2 x days Friday and Saturday.

All Site Holders will be required to practice Safe Covid19

Inside Space  

We provide inside pavilion space opportunities these are sold by meter frontage. Inside space is charged at $50 per 3m block. A special discount will apply to those Site Holders within the LGA area Sites are limited to 2m depth

Outside Space

We also provide outside space opportunities. Outside space is now sold in 4m frontage blocks charged at $50.00 per block. It will be assumed that your longer measurement is frontage and will be charged as such. Area quoted is to include draw bars and guy ropes. Sites are limited to 8m depth

STALL HOLDERS SELLING FOOD

All Stalls selling food MUST apply for approval under Section 68 of the Local Government Act 1993, Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 or Lithgow City Council Policies may also be required prior to commencing operation.

​

If food is prepared, stored or produced at a home based business you will be required to produce written evidence from your ‘Home Council’ (where the premises is located) confirming your premises are suitable for the storage, preparation or production of food for sale.

The completion of the food business notification form and any subsequent application forms should be submitted to Council with the relevant fees a minimum of 7 days before the event.

All operators of mobile food vans may be subject to regular inspections from Council’s Environmental Health Officers to ensure requirements under the Food Standards Code and the Food Act 2003 are being met.

FEES

Section 68 (D-1 and F-7) Local Government Act 1993 Initial Application Fee to operate in a public place or on community land Per Application $75.00

​

Section 68 (D-1 and F-7) Local Government Act 1993 - Annual approval (per year) in public place or community land Per Annam $160.00

​

Section 68 (D-1 and F-7) Local Government Act 1993 – One-off event approval (per  event) in public place or community land [Mobile Food Vending or Temporary Food Stall] Per Event  $43.00

Parking

We would request that all Stall Holder Vehicles are to be off site by 12 noon on the Friday and 9am on Saturday of the Show.

Unless you have arranged to keep your vehicle within your Allocated outside stall space.

All vehicles must display their vehicle permit on their front dashboard with a mobile number to the key holder of the vehicle.

THERE IS TO BE NO VEHICLE MOVEMENT BETWEEN 12 NOON and 10:15PM FRIDAY

9:00AM and 10:15PM SATURDAY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Insurance

If you do not have your own $20 Million Public Liability Insurance, temporary insurance can be applied for, for $25.00 through the Show Society for the duration of the show.
